Can you say Rugged? (w/ a capital R)
I bought this strap for my duffel bag for a trip to europe and I can confidently say that the strap will outlast my eastpak duffel bag. Sure metal clips, comfortable pad, and extremely rugged design & materials make for the perfect shoulder strap.I would use this thing as a seatbelt. Period. It will not break.

Just what I needed
This is a replacement strap for my messenger bag. Or as my wife calls it my man purse or murse. It is just what I needed: there is a rough grip material that is on the under side of the padded section so there is no more sliding off my shoulder. The same section is curved so that it 'fits' over the shoulder. The length is adjustable enough to allow for a sling over or over the head use.

I originally purchased one of these as a replacement strap for my camera bag full of expensive gear. I needed something strong, reliable, and comfortable. This is the end-all for shoulder straps. Pad is comfortable and will not slip. The clips are METAL and secure...carry your load with confidence. Overall build quality is well above average.
